All banks to start operating from 30th of March 2020 in the country. Department of financial services told banks to operate during the lockdown so that the financial transactions are carried smoothly.
Department of financial services will also focus on the rural areas during the lockdown and the banks will remain open from 10am to 2pm.
Essential banking services like cheque clearing, cash deposit and withdrawal, ATM services will be operating.
