All India Strike in IDBI Bank Suspended

The all India strike in state-owned bank, IDBI Bank stands suspended.

This postponing is a consequence of a conciliation meeting taken up by Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner with the management. Apparently, the Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner has asked management to decide upon the wage revision as soon as 8th May.

After this, the Union has decided to wait for management’s perspective and start bilateral talks within the organization so that a settlement can be reached upon. C.H.Venkatachalam, General Secretary, All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) has also been involved in this has he gave a statement regarding same.
