Amazon drops Mobile World Congress plan due to the threat of coronavirus

Amazon is joining a developing list of organizations that are never again partaking in the Mobile World Congress (MWC), which is occurring in Barcelona from February 24-27. As indicated by Reuters, the withdrawing organizations, including Amazon, raise worries about the coronavirus.

This is only the last extract of recent days, with a list of telecommunications companies falls out of the MWC because of the virus. According to the sources, Samsung is still planning to be present but it will send fewer executives to the conference.

According to the New York Times, the virus has killed above 800 individuals in China & affected 37,198. On Sunday, the GSM gave an announcement on its site admitting the toll that the corona infection is imposing on the event and showing measures it means to execute to improve the wellbeing and security of those present at MWC.
