Amazon Now has Over 5 Lakh Sellers in India

Amazon India Vice President of Seller Service Goyal Pillai said that e-commerce giant Amazon now has over 5 lakh sellers in India, an accomplishment that has been achieved on the back of various innovations and traders in small cities and towns in the country.
Pillai said that more than 80% of global sellers are based in tier-II and tier-III cities. He said that he also sees a large number of B2B companies entering the B2C space and succeeding.
Amazon’s Global Selling Program is projected to generate 5 billion USD worth of export sales by 2023 for Indian exporters that belong to its network.
