Amazon parent invested ₹2,310 crore in its marketplace unit

Amazon.com, Inc. has put about ₹2,310 crore into Amazon Seller Services Pvt. Ltd, its commercial center unit in India, as indicated by filings with the corporate undertakings service got to by Mint.

The fresh fund infusion is relied upon to push endeavors of the US web-based business monster to develop its vender network in India, where a three-month-long exacting lockdown planned for checking COVID-19 has seriously upset organizations.

The speculation has been made through Amazon Corporate Holdings Pvt. Ltd, a Singapore element, and Amazon.com, and it was endorsed by the leading group of Amazon Seller Services at a gathering on 25 June. An Amazon India representative declined to remark on the financing.
