Ayushman Bharat: 80% Awareness in Tamil Nadu, 20% in Bihar

It’s been one year since the government launched Ayushman Bharat. However, even today, there is a lack of awareness about the scheme across the country. Low awareness levels have been observed in Tamil Nadu, Haryana, and Bihar.
According to a survey by the National Health Authority, awareness level in Bihar and Haryana is below 20%. On the other hand, it’s at 80% in Tamil Nadu. CEO of National Health Authority, Dr. Indu Bhushan said that after one year of the launch of the national healthcare scheme, the biggest challenge that exists today is low awareness in public.
