Ban on Flipkart, Amazon Sought by Confederation of All India Traders

Concerned over deep discounts offered by Amazon and Flipkart during the upcoming festive sales that hurt local businesses, the Confederation of All India Traders has asked the government to impose a ban on the sales of the eCommerce giants during the season.

Ecommerce companies traditionally hold annual festive season sale during which they offer massive discounts to benefit from high volume and big-ticket purchases.
