Bank of America to Let go of Even More Workers

In a bid to cut costs, the second largest bank of U.S.- Bank of America has started laying off employees in its technology and operations division. According to a spokesperson, the bank cut several jobs on Wednesday, most of which came from its headquarters in Charlotte, NC.

Bank of America’s chief executive Brian Moynihan said that although the lender is also hiring, these new employees will cost less than those they have to let go.  To save costs the bank is also shutting down data centers and appointing information firms that will help lower their expenses.
