BBB Recommends 15 Names for PSU Banks’ Executive Directors

The names of 15 general managers of several public sector banks have been recommended by the Banks Board Bureau(BBB) to the government for the appointment of executive directors. According to sources, these names were recommended by the BBB chairman Vinod Rai himself along with a few other members of the board.
The list of recommendations will be sent to the Department of Financial Services which will then try to get clearance from the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) that’s chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
