Bhanu Pratap Sharma Appointed as new BBB Chief

The union government has decided to appoint Bhanu Pratap Sharma as the new chairman of Banks Board Bureau. He will replace the current chief Vinod Rai whose term ended on March 31, 2018.
Sharma is an IAS officer who is currently serving as the chairman of Recruitment and Assessment Centre at Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Previously he had worked in various profiles including secretary, health secretary in Union government, principal secretary of Bihar, etc.
