BHIM UPI 2.0 Launched: These are the New Features

The updated version of UPI i.e., UPI 2.0 was launched by the government recently to make it safer and more attractive.
The following are some of its key features:
● One-time mandate: Users can now schedule payments. So, the authorization can be done in advance but the money is transferred on the date set by the user.
● Overdraft facility: Users can now link their overdraft accounts with UPI apart from their savings account and current account.
● Signed intent and QR: Users can now verify the credentials of merchants via QR codes.
● Invoice in the box: Users will now receive invoices in their inbox for payments made via the UPI channel.
