Cash Availability at ATMs Worsens Again

Although cash availability showed signs of improvement in January after the disruption caused by the note-ban, the condition is again deteriorating after five months, a survey reveals.
LocalCircles, a citizen engagement platform, recently conducted a survey, in which 43% of the participant citizens said they are having troubling finding ATMs that have cash. This is based on the data from April 13 to April 16. However, during April 5 to April 8, the number of people having the same problem accounted for just 36%.
LocalCircles also found that Hyderabad is the worst hit by the ATM cash shortage, with 83% people saying about the problem.
