Cash-Strapped Pakistan Approaches ADB, To Receive 3.4 bn USD

Pakistan which is facing a huge economic crisis has signed an agreement with the Asian Development Bank under which it will receive funds to the tune of 3.4 billion USD. Under this, 2.1 billion USD will be released within the first year of the agreement, Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Khusro Bakhtiar said.

Cash-strapped Pakistan is currently seeking financial help to deal with a ballooning balance of payments crisis.
