Chidambaram Takes a Jab at Urjit Patel on Buying Note Counting Machines “8 Months After Demonetization”

Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram took to Twitter to mock the Central Bank’s timing of buying cash counting machines. In his tweet, he said how RBI is buying note counting machines 8 months after demonetization. He then questioned if RBI has heard of ‘leasing’.

Chidambaram didn’t leave out Prime Minister Mudra Scheme too, as he tweeted that “7.28 crore youth self-employed under the MUDRA loan scheme” is a title of a new mythological serial. It was also a possible jibe at BJP President Amit shah who had made the ‘7.28 crore self-employed’ statement recently.
