China, India to Make for Half of Air Passenger Growth in 20 years: IATA

As per the estimates of global airlines’ group IATA, China and India alone will make for around 50% of the growth of air passenger traffic during the next two decades. It said that India has become one of the fastest growing aviation markets in the world as more and more people have started preferring air travel.

Chief Economist at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) said that the Indian market will expand further and that the negative growth that was observed in April was only temporary.
