Citizens May Soon Get to Opt-Out of Aadhaar: Report
Citizens of India may soon get the option of opting out of Aadhaar network as the Government is likely to amend the Aadhaar Act soon, a report by The Hindu said. 

The report said that the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) which is the governing body of Aadhaar has proposed the amendment of the Aadhaar Act so that an opt-out clause can be added to the same. This will allow the Aadhaar users to withdraw their personal and biometric details from the servers. A draft note in that regard has already been prepared, an official said.
