City Union Bank Seeks to Raise Rs. 500 Crore

Private Sector City Union Bank plans to raise Rs. 500 crore capital and will seek approval from the shareholders with regard to the same. A meeting has been scheduled on August 23 when a call will be made on the matter.

N Kamakodi, who is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the bank said that they are planning to raise Rs. 500 crore through Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) and use it on the market opportunities.
