Create GST Cells for Grievances: Cabinet Secretary PK Sinha Asks Ministries

To ensure a smoother GST rollout for the industry, Cabinet Secretary PK Sinha has asked all the ministries to establish a GST facilitation cell that can address the complaints and concerns of the industry. He has sent a letter to various departments of the ministries suggesting that the GST facilitation cell should be operated by a small core team which can be governed by a ministry officer or an economic advisor. He also mentioned that the cell should stay in touch with the major business associations and industries at all times to extend support towards GST transition.
