Delhi EV Promotion May Help Save ₹6,000 cr in Fuel Imports

Delhi government will need around 500,000 new electric vehicles (EVs) under its EV policy in the next 5 years which will help it save 6,000 crores in oil and natural gas imports. The capital city will save prevent up to 4.8 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
The details were revealed by the report “Accelerating Delhi’s Mobility Transition: Insights from the Delhi Urban Mobility Lab” that was prepared by the Dialogue and Development Commission (DDC) of Delhi and the Rocky Mountain Institute.
