Digital India is a hope for developing countries

Secretary-General of the Commonwealth Patricia Scotland has gotten out the administration’s Digital India project as “another expectation for other creating and hopeful nations of the Commonwealth”.

Scotland said, “If you look at the more unfortunate nations, our smaller, our developing nations, a significant number of them look to the developed countries and they dread that they can’t try to do or imitate what the developed nations have done because of the cost. In any case, when they take a look at India and actuality that India is building up these things at scale and at a cost that looks available to so many”.

She had visited India in January 2020 where she associated with the Indian ministers as well as technology experts to understand the Digital India initiative.
