Digital payments has enabled cash transfers under Garib Kalyan scheme

Digital payments will allow cash transfer under the Garib Kalyan scheme announced by the government.
The finance minister has already announced financial assistance to the poor during the outbreak of coronavirus in the country.
Finance Ministry said, “Linking of Jan Dhan accounts and other accounts are done currently to provide the backbone for DBT flows, and pension schemes to the poor”.
