E-comm to continue investing heavily on new tech

E-commerce organizations will continue to invest in new technologies in the wake of the pandemic to give their consumers better client experience, said panelists recently concluded RetailTech Summit coordinated by ETRetail.com.

The panel discussion on “How E-trade Adapted to the New Normal, saw interest from top retail leaders like Raghu Krishnananda, boss innovation office at Myntra, KT Prasad, MD and RVP of Indian and SAARC at Zendesk, Devika Razdan, Director-Product Engineering at Grofers, and Siddhartha Reddy, Product-Lead at udaan.

As indicated by Krishnananda, keep on investing in technology, regardless of whether the situation normalizes.

“If you look at the penetration of e-commerce as total spend of retail in India, it is exceptionally small percent. Thus, there is in reality a great deal of room for growth which brings along a ton of new challenges, which will require investments in technology,” said the Myntra executive.
