E-tailers to support offline sellers with tech solutions

E-commerce marketplaces are attempting to get offline businesses to join their foundation as restrictions on physical outlets across states because of the second Covid-19 wave are affecting such sellers.

Online grocery retailer Grofers is contacting offline dealers and retailers, requesting them to become a part of its organization to keep away from the disturbances of lockdown-like restrictions.

Through three programmes, the organization is hoping to develop its dealer base, bringing disconnected stores on the web and furthermore collaborating with business people to open omnichannel retail stores.

“The group at Grofers is in a special situation to not just assist nearby organizations with adjusting the current circumstance yet in addition be prepared for a future which will be on the online and technology led,” Albinder Dhindsa, author and CEO of Grofers, said in an email.
