Ecommerce Companies Eye Small Towns to Push Employment Generation

According to industry experts, some of the biggest e-commerce companies are focusing on small towns to generate new jobs for business growth. They said that recruitment in these regions can increase by as much as 15%.

Experts say as customers’ demands are increasing, eCommerce companies have started setting up warehouses in small towns and capitalizing on the young talent in these areas. They also said other sectors that are expected to grow along with eCommerce include FMCG, e-wallets, logistics, and retail as these are also now focusing on tier II and tier III cities after metro cities.
