EPFO Payroll Data Shows Job Creation Increased from 7.88 Lakhs in Feb to 8.14 Lakhs in Mar

As per the latest data of Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), employment generation in the organized sector jumped from 7.88 lakhs in February to 8.14 lakhs in March. The highest number of 2.25 lakh jobs that were created during March were for the 22-25 years age group, which was followed by 2.14 lakh jobs for the 18-21 years age group.

EPFO maintains social security funds of workers in the organized and semi-organized sector and has over 6 crore members today.
