ESFB unveils programme for budding fintech entrepreneurs

Equitas Small Finance Bank Ltd. (ESFB) has introduced a unique program ‘Equitech’ (Equitas Fintech Accelerator Program) to help growing fintech entrepreneurs to be tutored by industry experts and venture capitalists.
The program was launched on August 7 and the application process for the enrolment has started. Equitech will help fintechs to arrive at a higher level and take its product to the market in a more targeted manner, it said in a statement.
Equitech will focus on financial technology like payments, lending, CASA, transaction banking, API banking, governance, and regulations just as different technologies, for example, agri-tech, banking tech, clean energy, government tech, and other horizontal sections across key focus areas.
Equitas will offer the essential help needed from legal and regulatory aspects. The chose fintech may likewise support Equitas SFB either as their first commercial business partner or as a co-brand partner.
