Facebook acquired cloud-gaming startup, PlayGiga

It’s no news that Facebook will ever stop acquiring startups or any huge companies.

Though the chain of line Facebook acquires is quite future promising and transformative technologies.

The recent Madrid- cloud gaming startup Facebook acquired is PlayGiga.

The talks had been going on between both companies and Facebook made a deal with PlayGigia to buy it for $78 million.

Facebook is building its gaming base and it has also included a navigational menu for the Gaming hub. The last deal was done with Beat Games who build a popular virtual reality platform, Bear Saber.

One of the reasons for Facebook to buy PlayGiga might be because PlayGiga’s has been working with telcos to create streaming game technology for 5G. This will help tech companies to reach more gamers globally and also a part of online advertising can be seen in the whole picture because of the wide gaming user base.
