Facebook launches a digital literacy programme for women

‘We Think Digital’ programme has been launched by Facebook for women in seven states of India.

They are promising to provide digital literacy to over 1 lakh women in India and in those seven states Uttar pradesh, West Bengal and Bihar is included as well. This will be done with the help of an alliance created with the National commision for women and cyber peace foundation.

The women will gain literacy on digital utilization and citizenship, revolving around the issues of security, wellbeing and misuse of information.

This ‘We Think Digital’ programme has been officially launched since Tuesday.
