Facebook to Set up Privacy Panel, Settle Allegations After Paying 5 bn USD

According to sources, Facebook Inc has decided to settle many top allegations regarding user privacy by paying 5 billion USD and taking certain measures. The same is to be announced by the Federal Trade Commission Soon. As per the agreement, the social media giant will establish a board committee on privacy and will agree to properly protect the privacy of the users. Company’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg will be granted up to 3 months to certify that the company’s ensuring adequate protection of its users’ privacy.
