FEEs from Tourism Up by Rs. 2,254 cr

Foreign Exchange Earnings (FEEs) from tourism increased by Rs. 2,254 crores this October on a year-over-year basis, Tourism Ministry said.

The ministry said that the total FEEs earnings stood at Rs. 14,354 crores in October 2017, compared to Rs. 12,100 crores in October 2016 and Rs. 10,549 crores in October 2015.

The growth rate was 14.7% from October 2015 to October 2016, and 18.6% from October 2016 to October 2017, a statement from the ministry said.
