Finance minister launches Union Budget mobile app

Finance Minister of India launched the Union Budget Mobile app for free access of budget documents by Member of Parliaments & public.
Launched on the occasion of the ‘halwa’ ceremony, the application facilitates access to 14 budget documents, including the annual financial management, finance bill and more as prescribed by the constitution.
Finance ministry said, “The app has user friendly interface with integrated feature with downloading, printing, search, zoom in & out, table of content & external links. It is bilingual & it will be available on both Android & iOS platforms.
Budget documents will be available on the application for everyone once the budget speech of Finance Minister is completed on 1st of February, 2021. The app can be downloaded from the Union Budget Web portal. Budget documents will not be printed due to the ongoing corona virus pandemic.
