Finance Ministry to Set up Panel for Shortlisting Candidates for IFCI and Sidbi

The finance ministry will be creating a screening committee for the selection of the candidates for the top posts in IFCI Ltd. and Small Industries Development Bank of India, as requested by the Banks Board Bureau (BBB).
The BBB has asked the finance ministry to finalize the top six or seven candidates they see fit to be called for interviews. The operation is expected to be wrapped up by the end of the next month.
According to an official, anyone who is eligible, whether they are an assistant or general manager of another bank, has applied for the chairman position in IFCI and Sidbi.
