Financial Inclusion Can be Promoted with Fintech Companies, Says RBI Governor
RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das said that fintech companies can help push financial inclusion across the country by bringing down the costs and making formal banking services accessible in different parts of the country.  He said that the central bank has also appointed a 5-member committee to give a boost to digital payments and financial inclusion which will be headed by Nandan Nilekani.

Das said that the government’s development of national payments services like UPI, Aadhar-based payments, Bharat Bill Pay System, etc. have changed the retail payments scenario in the country. He also said that he will meet with the chiefs of payments banks to understand their problems.
