Flipkart wholesale sees 3x jump in digital adoption

Flipkart Wholesale, the digital B2B marketplace of India’s local Flipkart Group, on Monday announced initiatives for strengthening of kiranas through enhancement in their in-application experience on the back of increased e-commerce adoption.

Flipkart Wholesale, along with Best Price cash-and-carry business, serves over 1.5 million individuals across the nation, which includes kiranas, HoReCa (inns, cafés and cafeterias) and O&I (workplaces and organizations). Best Price cash-and-carry business has seen a 3-times expansion in e-commerce adoption among kiranas in level 2 and level 3 urban areas from January 2021 to June 2021, flagging that Bharat is getting used to e-commerce.

Interesting trends have transacting out of Best Price where one in each three clients is presently transacting on the internet through the Best Price application and site, the organization said.

Flipkart Wholesale is likewise seeing high organic adoption of e-commerce among its Best Price members and more than half of them are currently transacting on the internet without assistance.
