Global Fashion brands are knocking at India’s door for face masks

Global fashion brands tapping India for surgical face masks that have come into demand during the worldwide crisis. Global brands have begun sharing prototypes of masks to Indian suppliers who are waiting to export the non-surgical masks.
Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) has approached the center for clarification of export of non-surgical masks and other protective wear. The exporters are seeking clarification on the supply of masks that may be supplied to global buyers.
AEPC chairman, A Sakhtivel said, “The exporters are not allowed to export any kind of mask which is not for surgical purposes”.
