Google Maps to help visually impaired people navigate safely

Google has introduced new features and improvements in Google Maps.

In recent feature, taking into the account of visually impaired people, Google made quite impressive changes in their Google Maps app.

This new option will help people navigate to the destinations in a detailed voice guidance form.

The maps will also tell the distance, the direction to the destination you are traveling. Current to the estimated time to the next turn. It will also alert you on busy intersection and crossroads.

Google has taken a huge step for visually challenged people and in addition to this have also announced other features such as ‘Your Places’ option in google maps will tell hotel and flight reservations in the app and soon launch ‘Incognito Mode’ for better privacy on your location.
