Government Close to Finalizing Anti-Profiteering Roadmap: CBEC

Mahender Singh, who is a member of the Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC), said the government has entered into the final stages of creating the anti-profiteering guidelines that will push the non-compliant business owners to pass the benefits of the GST system to the customers.
Referring to the new e-way bills that will be used from the beginning of next month for the intra-state as well as interstate transportation of goods, Singh also said that 15 states have already agreed to the implementation of the same and hopefully others will follow soon.
