Government Disburses Rs. 243 cr for Dena Bank

Public sector Dena Bank said that it received Rs. 243 crore from the Government of India on December 29, “towards the contribution of the central government in the preferential allotment of equity shares.” which is the part of government’s capital infusion plan.

Although the funds have been approved, they have been put as share application money and would be released after all the formalities have been taken care of that include the necessary approvals. However, the bank said it has already received the board’s permission.
