Government to Invite Applications for RBI Deputy Governor Post Once Again

With the post of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Deputy Governor still vacant, the government is planning to invite fresh applications for the same in the near future.
After the previous Deputy Governor S S Mundra completed his term on July 31, 2017, the position has been vacant ever since. Although interviews for the same were conducted on July 29th, no selection was actually made. Thus, the government has started the process once again, sources said.
