Government May Deploy Analytics Tool for Airfare Trends

To provide future airfare trends in a transparent manner to the passengers the government is planning to bring in an analytics tool. This concept is in line with the Civil Aviation Ministry’s goal for a seamless and paperless air travel in the nation’s aviation market which is expected to be the 3rd largest in the world by 2022.
High rates for the air tickets have been a part of debates since a long time in the industry. The idea of cutting the rates have also toyed with multiple times. With an analytics system, however, the customers will get a better idea of the potential changes in airfare and plan their trips accordingly.
