Govt allows restaurants and hotels to operate from next week

In a bid to restart the economy, the administration gave rules for a staged re-opening of zones outside the containment zones, permitting hotels, eateries, and other cordiality benefits just as shopping centers to open from next week. In any case, it said that the service of Health and Family Welfare will give Standard Operating Procedures for the above exercises in counsel with central ministries and offices for guaranteeing social distancing to contain the spread of Coronavirus.

Cafés that have seen an immense drop in business will see extra help from the most recent relaxations as they would now be able to open for eat-in business after a hole of more than two months. Eateries were prior given authorization for takeaways and online delivery.

Anurag Katriar, president, National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) said, “Be that as it may, eateries said they will wait for clarity on state rules. Fundamentally, we are glad to restart. Be that as it may, we need to initially take a gander at the new rules that different states will think of”.
