Govt. Finalizing ₹1 Lakh Crore Plan for 14 Mega National Employment Zones

With the aim to generate both direct and indirect jobs on a large scale, the government is working to finish a ₹1-lakh-crore plan to set up 14 mega national employment zones across the coastal states in the country.
The scheme which was designed by the shipping ministry in consultation with the think tank body NITI Aayog is expected to be implemented before the general elections next year.
