Greater Noida Airport Shall be Ready by 2023: Ashok Gajapathi Raju

Although the idea of a new airport in Greater Noida was proposed years back, it’s now that it has finally received a green signaland According to Ashok Gajapathi Raju, civil aviation minister, the second NCR airport will be built by 2023.
Raju said that establishing a second airport in the NCR region is essential as the current Delhi International Airport (DIAL), which is managed by the GMR Group, is likely to reach a saturation point by then.However, we have learned from the past experiences, i.e. the Mumbai airports, when the development for the second airport was started too late, it’s best to prepare in advance.
