GST Collections Continue to Drop in the Second Month at Rs. 80,808 cr

GST collections seem to follow a declining pattern as they stood at Rs. 80,808 crores in November from Rs. 83,000 crores in the previous month.
As per the statement issued by the finance ministry, about Rs. 7,798 crores of the Rs. 80,808 crores collection was the compensation cess received in November. The collections from SGST, CGST, and IGST stood at Rs. 18,650 crores, Rs. 13,089 crores, and Rs. 41,270 crores respectively.
