GST Enrolment Window to Reopen Soon: Finance Ministry

The enrolment process for the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN), which was ended on April 30 by the authority will be starting in a few weeks, as stated by the revenue department.
The GST portal was opened for the taxpayers to register for the new GST regime during November 8,2016, to April 30, 2017, and about 60 lakh individuals completed their registration process. Their data will now be transferred to the new GST system.
Understanding that the GST launch date is coming closer, and there are still a great number of taxpayers who haven’t registered yet, the department will reopen the registration window in a few weeks.
