GST Scams: Finance Ministry Assuages Worried Traders, Launches Helpline

As GST related scams are increasing in the national capital, the Office of the Chief Commissioner of GST (Delhi Zone) has issued a clarification along with a dedicated helpline to resolve the grievances of the traders. As per the statement, traders facing problems can complain at the helpline 011-23370115.

According to the statement, several instances of fraudulent individuals who are posing as GST officers and fleecing customers and traders have been reported to the authority. However, no officer from any department is allowed to visit the business facility of a trader without authorization. In the case of any difficulty, taxable people can complain at the helpline.
