GSTN Working on Building Tools to Help Taxmen Identify Tax Evaders

To augment the efforts of the tax offices towards data analysis, the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) is working on new applications and tools that can make it easier to identify tax evasion.
GSTN head Prakash Kumar said that the company is to focus on improving the GSTN portal interface and building data analytics services apart from improving the backend system for audit, assessment, advance and appeal rules for the 27 states covered under the regime.
