HDFC Life, Vijaya Bank Ink Pact to Sell Insurance Products
Private sector insurer HDFC Life has signed an agreement with public sector Vijaya bank as per which its insurance products will be sold at the banks’ branches across the country.

HDFC Life’s Managing Director and CEO Amitabh Chaudhry said that the partnership will allow the company to reach the rural and semi-urban demographic where insurance penetration is limited.

HDFC Life has 182 bancassurance partners as of today. However, now that it’s teamed up with Vijaya bank, it will get to sell its products through its 2,129 branches as well.
