Healthcare, Wellness Sector Agreements Between India, Japan Get Nod from Cabinet
A Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) that was signed between India and Japan for healthcare and agriculture on October 29 has now been granted approval by the Union Cabinet. It looks to promote projects in the areas of surgery, acute medicine, and the setting up of an advanced testing laboratory that can be used for tertiary care in both nations. It also focuses on developing a centralized management healthcare distribution system which can grant access to affordable toilets and collaboration on state-of-the-art medical devices.
