High-Income Tax Payers to get Special Treatment

In light of the fact that 80% of the direct tax in India is paid by only 20,000 individuals and entities, the government has started working on a plan that will give these taxpayers a priority and a better treatment.
They will be allowed to meet with tax officials with ease to discuss their problems and receive resolutions.
As per the plan, the Income Tax department is also working on a jurisdiction-free assessment which will make it non-mandatory for a tax officer to be located in the same area as the taxpayer.
